Morar House

This 3 bedroom house was designed as cost-effective holiday accommodation and is both elegant in design and highly energy-efficient. The Client was keen to have a home which was in keeping with traditional Highland building types while being uncompromisingly modern internally.

The exterior of the building is clad with blue/grey slate roofing and traditional lime mortar. Large expanses of glass provide open views of the surrounding countryside from the double-height, open-plan living and dining area, while at the upper level the master bedroom commands views of the islands of Eigg and Rhum.
