Fairway Villa, Perthshire

A sleek, linear glass volume on the edge of open fairways, this house creates a sense of drama. Designed around a double height living area, awash with natural daylight, the Fairway Villa merges interior and landscape to dramatic effect. At the heart of the living space, a steel, glass and timber staircase rises gracefully up to a gallery. Rising with the staircase, in an echo of the soaring trees outside, the slate-clad chimney breast has a hearth open to both living and dining areas. Outside a deep external deck wraps around the southern corner of the house, leading on to an open lawn with mature trees at the fairway's edge.
